Serving the Oklahoma City metro
What we do

Three services. One healthy lawn.

Everything we sell exists to fix a specific problem in your yard. If you do not need it, we will tell you.

A seven-round program timed to Oklahoma soil temperatures. Pre-emergent barriers stop weeds before they start, and season-appropriate feeding builds turf thick enough to crowd out the rest.

Lawn pest treatment for fleas, ticks and ant hills across the whole lawn, mosquito reduction around the house, and grub prevention before the damage shows. Exterior perimeter spray is available as an add-on.

Oklahoma clay compacts hard. Core aeration, fescue overseeding and Soil Conditioning open the ground back up so water, air and fertilizer actually reach the roots.

The nerd method

Four steps. Repeated all season.

This is the part most companies skip. It is also the part that makes the difference.

1. Measure

We measure treatable turf square footage and walk the property, so your quote reflects your actual lawn instead of a guess off a map.

2. Diagnose

Grass type, shade, irrigation, compaction and the weeds already present. Watering, mowing and what a service does, we answer on the spot. Disease, fungus, insect identification and soil go to our agronomist.

3. Treat

Applications timed to soil temperature and rainfall, not to a route calendar. Your invoice explains what we did and why, in plain English.

4. Adjust

Every visit starts by checking the last one. If something did not respond, the next round changes. That is what the guarantee is really for.

Annual program · 7 rounds

What a year of lawn care looks like

Lawn care is a sequence, not a set of one-off sprays. Miss the February round and you spend all summer chasing crabgrass. Here is the schedule we run across the Oklahoma City metro.

1
Early spring

Pre-emergent, round one

The round that decides your summer. A pre-emergent barrier across the whole lawn, with post-emergent in the same tank for anything already up. The blue tint is a marker dye so the technician can see every pass and miss nothing; it fades in a couple of weeks.

2
Late spring

Pre-emergent, round two

A second application weeks later reinforces the barrier and carries crabgrass protection deep into summer, right when a single early application would be wearing off.

3
Early summer

Fertilizer and weed control

Granular fertilizer across the whole lawn, every granule blown off the drive and walks, then weed control on whatever is up. If Soil Conditioning is on your program it goes in between. Same order every time, for a reason.

4
Mid summer

Fertilizer and weed control

Color and growth while the lawn is actively growing. Fescue lawns get their own mix from a separate tank, because Bermuda products damage fescue.

5
Late summer

Fertilizer and weed control

The last feed of the growing season, with weed control keeping pressure down ahead of the fall pre-emergent.

6
Fall

Fall pre-emergent

Stops the winter weeds that germinate in cool weather, the ones that show up green in February when everything else is brown. Skip it and you spend March looking at henbit.

7
Late fall

Winterizer

Built to push nutrients into the roots instead of the blade, so the lawn stores energy through winter and comes out of dormancy faster and greener.

Questions

Lawn care questions we get first

Is lawn treatment safe for my kids and pets?

Yes, once it is dry or watered in, and the time depends on the service. Liquid weed control and pre-emergent: once dry, and give it 24 hours before mowing or watering. Fertilizer: once it is watered in and off the hard surfaces. Lawn pest and mosquito: one hour. We call ahead so pets are inside when we arrive, and the dry time is written on the door hanger every visit.

Do I have to sign a contract for lawn care?

No. The program is a yearly schedule, not a contract, and there is no cancellation fee. You can stop with a phone call. We will ask why, because a reason we can fix is worth hearing, but we will not make you sit through a phone tree.

What if weeds come back between visits?

Call us and we respray those areas at no charge. The free respray is part of every weed control program from the first application on, as long as you stay on the yearly program without skipping rounds, because each round sets up the next one. Some weeds, especially grassy ones, take more than one hit. That is normal, and it is exactly what the respray is for.

How much does lawn care cost in the Oklahoma City metro?

Price is driven by treatable turf square footage, not lot size, so we measure your actual turf area before quoting. Most metro lawns land in a predictable range and we give you the exact number in writing before anything is scheduled.

Do I need to be home for a lawn treatment?

No. We call ahead the day before so you can unlock the gate and bring pets inside. The technician knocks, asks if you have any concerns before starting, and if nobody answers the service proceeds and the door hanger does the talking.

How soon will I see a difference in my lawn?

Weeds yellow and curl within a few days and are dead in one to two weeks. Grassy weeds and deep-rooted perennials take longer and sometimes a second application. Fertilizer shows as deeper color and thicker growth over two to three weeks, faster if you water deeply once a week.

Why is my lawn blue after the pre-emergent?

That is a marker dye mixed into the pre-emergent so the technician can see every pass and make sure nothing was missed. It fades within a couple of weeks with sun and water, and the one-inch line on the concrete edge fades in a couple of days. Blue is a good sign: it means the barrier is there.

Can I mow after a treatment?

After liquid weed control or pre-emergent, wait 24 hours so the product stays on the leaf long enough to work. After fertilizer, mowing is fine once it is dry. After aeration, mow as normal. After overseeding, wait until the new grass is up. Mulch the clippings in every case.
